Haywood County sits nestled in the beautifully mountainous area of Western North Carolina, and carries a median population of 59,036 as of 2010. It is the third geographically biggest county in North Carolina. It holds an average temperature of 54 degrees and was established in 1808.

It is a destination for avid outdoor lovers, and the community is very strongly tied into an active lifestyle.
